Can you make custom items?

Yes, we do take custom orders, however due to limitations in the kiln, production times are not guaranteed.

Do you only do ocean themed items?

The ocean is central to k10clay, but other items are also available with a variety of glaze colors. Send us a message and let us know what you’re looking for.

Why are ceramic items so expensive?

Creating a unique handmade ceramic item takes hours of dedication and refinement. From wet clay, to leather hard clay that can be shaped, carved, and sculpted to bisque-fired clay that is further sanded and washed and completely dried can take well over a week. And then it still needs to be glazed and fired again. The process is enjoyable, but very time consuming. The pricing also reflects not just the work put into the item, but also the creative energy driving its design.
